The Platform
Worldof30 is an international video platform where women between the age of 26 and 36 years old, share their life stories and life experiences. We want to give women a voice so they can inspire their peers across the globe.
Why 30? In the West a lot of women who are approaching the age of 30 face big life issues; do I want to have children? Is this the man I want to marry and what about my career? We believe that your own peers are the best advisors and inspirators and the platform gives you the opportunity to do just that.
To really get in insight in other worlds and cultures video is the best way to travel.
Spreading information through video is the future. Almost everyone has a simple camera on her phone or computer and therefore has the opportunity to share their story.
Every month, a new Topic will be posted. Topics can be about social issues, career, body: anything. Women from all over the world (between the age of 26 and 36) can respond to the topic by sending in a short video (3 minutes max). You can upload a video as a:
- Blogger: you make a video about yourself
- Reporter: you make a video about another woman
All bloggers and reporters get a profilepage with name, age and country. All the videos that you have submitted will be gathered here. This gives aspiring journalists and filmmakers a great opportunity to build their portfolio.
But you don’t have to be a professional filmmaker to join in. It’s the content that counts not the quality.

Goals
Our goal is to give women all over the world a voice to express themselves.
We believe that all women should be able to speak out and be heard and by introducing other perspectives and beliefs, we will become more open-minded. This knowledge creates more understanding and tolerance towards other people and cultures. These ideas are then passed on to our children: the next generation.
